Traditional Matchmakers is a service for single professionals who are serious about finding a relationship. We have been in business since 1983 and online since August, 2001. We combine the reach and convenience of the Internet with the old-fashioned belief that nothing replaces the relationship between a matchmaker and her client.

We charge $465 for five tailor made, in-person introductions, made over the course of a year. For details, please read the "Our Fees" section below.

The caliber of our client pool is the reason for our success. We work with educated single professionals who work hard, travel, take care of themselves physically, and, above all, are sincere in their use of our service.
Our rules (and fees) are designed to keep out people who are not committed to following through in meeting clients to whom we match them. Those who do become our clients appreciate that. They also appreciate the private, personal nature of our approach and our being selective on their behalf.

Our matchmakers set us apart. We are old-fashioned in that way. With your feedback, your matchmaker will get to know you and what you are looking for. Together we will increase the odds of your finding the right relationship.
We are willing to make calls after hours. We leave personal messages only on your private voice-mail and use only a first name when talking to an operator. Any information that you give your matchmaker will be held in the strictest of confidence.

Because ours is not an open database of classified ads we never put your profile on public display. Instead, we make carefully-considered matches for you, with your preferences in mind.
We look for compatible backgrounds, interests, and circumstances: age, children, physical activities, energy, etc. We also pay special attention to appearance - we know that physical attraction is a real and legitimate concern for everyone.

We charge $465 for five "Introductions" made over the course of one year.
Introduction. When we have a “Prospective Match”, we call each client and make sure that they both agree to the other's profile. Then, we exchange e-mail addresses for you. You are welcome to exchange e-mails or to talk on the phone, it only becomes an "Introduction" once you actually meet in-person.
Our Refund Policy. If we do not have an appropriate match for you, or you do not accept any of the matches that we present to you within the first month of your membership, we will refund your fee in its entirety (please note, however, that once you have accepted your first “Prospective Match”, we will consider you committed to our process and its terms).

Since we must both assess whether or not our service is right for you, we call you for an initial telephone interview before expecting you to make a decision. There is no fee for the interview. First, however, you have to register with us and get us a current photograph.
